NewtonPC Terms of Use.
These Terms of Use apply to your use of the NewtonPC website and your NewtonPC account. They explain the basic rules for using our services and managing your account.
These terms do not replace any additional terms that may apply when purchasing a PC or other products from NewtonPC.
Your email is your sign-in
Access your account with a temporary code sent to an email address you control.
Marketing is your choice
News and offers are optional. Change your preference in account settings.
An account is not an order
Registering or saving a build does not place an order or authorise a payment.
Your account
A NewtonPC account allows you to manage your profile and view orders associated with your account.
You sign in using an email address you control and a temporary verification code sent to that address. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account and any verification codes secure.
You must not allow another person to access your NewtonPC account without permission.
If you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation, contact us at info@newtonpc.com.
Using the website
You must provide accurate information when creating or using your account.
You must not:
- attempt to access another person's account, orders or personal information;
- interfere with the operation or security of the website;
- attempt to bypass security measures or access restricted areas;
- use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect NewtonPC, our customers or the security of the website.
Emails and communication
NewtonPC may send you emails that are necessary to operate your account or provide our services. These may include:
- sign-in and verification codes;
- security notifications;
- order confirmations and updates;
- support or account-related messages.
These communications are separate from marketing emails.
Accepting these terms does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Where marketing communications are available, you can choose whether to receive them and can change your preference later.
You can manage available account information and preferences from your account settings.
Our Privacy Notice explains how NewtonPC collects, uses and stores personal information.
Builds, products and purchases
Using the PC configurator, creating a build or saving a configuration does not by itself place an order or authorise payment.
Prices, product specifications, stock availability, estimated performance and delivery estimates shown on the website may change before an order is placed.
Before completing a purchase, you will be shown the final configuration, price and any applicable delivery costs or other charges.
Additional purchase terms, including information about payment, delivery, cancellations, returns, warranties and consumer rights, will apply when online ordering is available.
NewtonPC will not attempt to limit any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
Product compatibility
NewtonPC may provide automated compatibility guidance when configuring a PC.
We aim to keep compatibility information accurate, but automated checks may not cover every technical consideration or manufacturer restriction.
Before accepting an order, NewtonPC may review the selected configuration and contact you if a change is required to produce a compatible or functional system.
Website availability
We may update, modify or temporarily suspend parts of the website while carrying out maintenance, improving features or addressing technical or security issues.
We do not guarantee that every feature will be available at all times.
Features that are marked as preview, beta, planned or coming soon may change or may not become available.
Intellectual property
The NewtonPC name, website design, written content, graphics and other original material on this website belong to NewtonPC or are used with permission.
You may use the website for personal use, including researching and configuring a PC, but you may not copy, reproduce or commercially exploit NewtonPC content without permission.
Product names, logos and trademarks belonging to third-party manufacturers remain the property of their respective owners.
Account closure
You may request deletion of your NewtonPC account by contacting info@newtonpc.com.
We may retain information where necessary to comply with legal, accounting, tax, warranty, fraud-prevention or order-record obligations.
Deleting an account does not automatically delete information that NewtonPC is legally required to retain.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the website, our services or applicable requirements change.
Where a change is significant, we may provide reasonable notice through the website or by email.
The version of the terms shown on the website at the time you use the relevant service will apply.
